Personal information is all forms of information that can be attributed to you to one extent or another. When you use our website or mobile application, we collect and process a range of such information. This happens e.g. by ordinary interactions on the website or mobile application, such as when you sign up for our newsletter, participate in a competition/survey, register as a new user/subscriber or otherwise use services or purchase via our platforms

To the extent that you give explicit consent yourself and enter the information yourself, we also process: Name, telephone number, e-mail, address and payment information. This typically happens when you create a login or when making a purchase on the site.

If you choose to register in the Mountainbike United app through a third party authentication provider, such as Facebook, Apple or Google, we collect and process your email/username, password, name and in some cases profile image from the provider in question.

SECURITY

We process your personal data securely and confidentially in accordance with applicable legislation, including the Personal Data Regulation and the Data Protection Act.
Your information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected and will be deleted when this purpose has been fulfilled or is no longer relevant.
We have taken technical and organizational measures against your information being accidentally or illegally deleted, published, lost, degraded or coming to the knowledge of unauthorized persons, misused or otherwise processed in violation of the law.

PURPOSE

The information you provide is used to identify you as a user and show you the ads that will be most relevant to you, to register your purchases and payments, and to be able to provide you with the services you have requested, such as receiving newsletters. In addition, we use the information to optimize and improve our services and content. Information collected from third party authentication providers may also be used to authenticate and identify you.

PERIOD OF STORAGE

We retain information for as long as is permitted by law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary or relevant. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storage. It is therefore not possible to give a general time frame for when information is deleted.

TRANSFER OF INFORMATION

Data about your use of the website, which advertisements you receive and possibly clicks on, geographic location, gender and age segment, etc. is passed on to third parties to the extent that the information is known and if we make use of third parties. We also use a number of third parties to store and process data. These only process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

Dissemination of personal data such as name and e-mail etc. will only happen if you yourself consent to it. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with sufficient protection.
